This is a fun and unique regatta for a great cause! All boats race around a pre-determined short course for three hours and collect points for each buoy rounded on the course. Laps are completed similarly to a car race and as many points are collected as possible before the time limit is up. Scores are corrected by PHRF rating – and don’t worry, boats without a rating will be assigned one prior to the race.

Since this is a charity regatta, buoys can be “purchased” (for your boat, your friend’s boat, or any participating boat you choose) and added to the final score after the regatta. The party starts immediately following the 3-hour course and includes libations, a silent auction of awesome stuff, and, for any boat still wanting to increase their chances of winning, buoys can be purchased via "Buy-a-buoy for the girls" even after the race, up until the deadline several hours after the finish on race day.
